Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center is composed of several different entities, including Wake Forest University Health Sciences (which includes the School of Medicine) and North Carolina Baptist Hospital. Each of these entities oversees different parts of our mission. For example, since the School of Medicine is technically a part of Wake Forest University Health Sciences, WFUHS administers scholarships and financial aid for medical students, the Nurse Anesthesia Program, and the PA Program. Most medical research is conducted under the auspices of WFUHS. Most patient support programs are administered by North Carolina Baptist Hosptial, as are some educational initiatives such as Continuing Education for Nurses and the Pastoral Care Program.

We strongly encourage you to contact the Charitable Planning advisors in the Office of Philanthropy and Alumni Relations prior to executing legal documents so that we understand and can abide by your wishes.
